The BSC Recreational Program is for all players 6 years old and up, regardless of experience or ability. The program emphasizes skill development and sportsmanship in a fun and safe environment.
Recreational teams have two seasons, in the fall and spring, and typically practice twice a week during the season. Teams are coached by dedicated volunteer coaches who determine practice times and locations. Our U7-U10 Recreational players have the opportunity for additional training from the club's training staff each week during the season.
Costs for the Recreational Program is based on birth year:
- U7 & U8 - $130 (uniform t-shirt costs an extra $10, if needed)
- U9 & U10 - $150
- U11+ - $170
- U9+ players are required to purchase the BSC REC uniform kit at additional cost.
- Standard uniform consists of a purple AND a white jersey with black shorts and black socks . The shorts and socks you can get anywhere you like but be sure they are solid black -- no stripes but a logo is OK. BSC has a vendor for the full kit (~$64) or if you like just the jerseys (~$40). A link to our order form will be sent out for you to order the kit. We recommend a slightly larger jersey size so that you can use for two years (or more). The club will place a mass order before the season starts and have a pickup/pay date before the first games.
Spring 2024 Important Dates:
- Registration Due Date - March 7th
- Practices Begin as soon as field conditions allow (usually late March)
- Schedule Release - Approximately March 21
- Play Dates - April 6 - June 2
